Participant Guidelines
Planning a Family Day celebration in your community? Please use the following guidelines to help ensure that your event is a success!
- Family Day should be referred to as Family Day – A Day to Eat Dinner with Your ChildrenTM especially in the first reference or when linking from your website to www.CASAFamilyDay.org.
- CASA must always be referred to as The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University.
- The Family Day logo may not be used without prior approval from The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University.
- Please use statistics from the most recent Family Dinners reports. The most current report is The Importance of Family Dinners V that came out in September 2009.
- Please e-mail photos of your event to familyday@casacolumbia.org for our files. Please include your written approval if we may use the photos in our Family Day slideshow on our website and other promotional materials. Please make sure you get written permission beforehand for any children featured in your pictures.
- If you would like to collect Family Day STAR pledges at your local events, please use our pledge form.
- Copies of signed proclamations that you receive from local elected officials should be mailed or faxed to:
