Guidelines

Planning a Family Day celebration in your community?  Please use the following guidelines to help ensure that your event is a success! 

  • Family Day should be referred to as Family Day – A Day to Eat Dinner with Your ChildrenTM especially in the first reference or when linking from your website to www.CASAFamilyDay.org.
  • CASA Columbia must always be referred to as The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University.
  • The Family Day logo may not be used without prior approval from The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University.
  • Please use statistics from the most recent Family Dinners reports. The most current report is The Importance of Family Dinners VII that came out in September 2011.
  • Please e-mail photos of your event to familyday@casacolumbia.org for our files. Please include your written approval if we may use the photos in our Family Day slideshow on our website and other promotional materials.
  • If you would like to collect Family Day STAR pledges at your local events, please use our pledge form.
  • Copies of signed proclamations that you receive from local elected officials should be mailed or faxed to:
